Heart Commando - sad gamedev story ;_;

So today after a friend came by and told me that he played and tried to finish Heart Commando but found it way too hard I decided to go back and easen things up. After I made some changes to the layout of the levels, made the projectiles and bullet bigger and easier to see, lowered the number of traps I give a try to do a run to see how the game feel...only to discover that the new version of GMS2 studio completely broke the save system. I tried to make a new one using a DS grid but I didn't get much understanding of it and now kinda tired I said oh well, the game works fine overall. Just a day of failed attemps no biggie! Let's make a playthourgh so I can show my friend and some others who get stuck some manouvers and if somebody want to just watch how it goes and spoil the game can do it.

So here I go flying smoothly, then I get a bit hazy and die sometimes. A gameover, but no problem you can just push the load button and restart with one life from the level you died. Keep going and then.
Infinite death glitch, never encountered there it was lying silent waiting on a sad cold day. ;___;
And now I can't even change it for the update.

And to think while I was playing my thoughts went on how to develop the world more and open up the structure making the first branching path to Windy Course and the Sky Dome. Now all in the bin, I make I gif with the intention of becoming a better programmer, to create time to make games with friends and explore and looking for a course with some teaching me the basics.

You make it look so easy! You have such pixel-accuracy when you fly. I had to crawl to not hit everything :D

Damn I know the control are so clunky, but I was so inspired by resident evil 4 to create a deep movement mechanics that Maybe I went overboard with hard Level design too. Thank you I ll give a try to make a Traning dream ground!

I'm still on GMS1. I also had to update my game Wizard Slime because literally everyone complained it was too hard. I might rework it completely someday...
