My Pixelart August 2020, Slippers

Greetings my friends,

I am already late to catch up with the daily pixel art drawing. I'm new with this community as I had just joined. I missed a lot huh.

Well, to kick start I am doing the prompt for the 18th which is slippers. My choice is a rubber slippers that I normally see on the beach or pool side.

I'm supposed to create a tiled floor but I think that would look busy and may clash with the main subject the slippers. Pardon me I only managed to draw just the other part of the pair.
