Fine Tune your Workbook with Print Options in Excel

There is nothing worse than receiving an Excel workbook that looks the part, but then when you print it, tables and charts are split into different pages. Do people know there are print options available in excel?

This problem is a common spreadsheet problem. People fail to use the page layout options and page set up options in Excel to ensure that the report, they spent ages producing, actually prints out correctly.

There is a suite of print options available in Excel. In fact, there is a ribbon dedicated to Page Layout options. It is from this ribbon you can

  • Select orientation
  • Set page margins
  • Select page size
  • Scale the worksheet to fit page sizes
  • Set headers and footers and select areas to print
  • Repeat rows on pages
In this video, we will look in detail at the Page Layout Options. You will learn how to check a workbook on print preview, insert headers and footers, print areas, select page size and much much more.

Don't fall trap to this common problem, make sure your workbooks print as they should.

In return for this tip on Print Options in Excel, I ask that you share this post or the video with your friends and colleagues
