Adelaide Strikers vs Hobart Hurricanes Match Review // BBL Match 05
It was the 5th match of Big Bash League 2020. Hobart Hurricanes beat Adelaide Strikers by 11 runs. Now i'm going to shortly review the high voltage match.
HBH started batting first and scored total 174 runs by 5 wickets. Top orders started very well. Short and Jacks scored 64 runs in opening partnership. After Jack's wicket Ingram came out and made another 68 runs partnership with Short.
Short played an amazing innings of 72 runs off 48 balls including 6 fours and 4 sixes. Jack scored 34 runs, Ingram 25 runs, David 21* runs. Agar picked up 2 wickets.
In reply ADS had a worst start. They lost total 6 wickets just scoring 49 runs and lost 9th wicket in 102 runs. Then ADS fans get some entertainment from Worral and Briggs bat. They made 61 runs partnership in final wicket remained unbeaten.
Worral hammered 62 runs off 39 balls including 7 fours and 3 sixes. Briggs hammered 35 runs off 18 balls including 4 fours and 2 sixes. Faulkner picked up 3 wickets, Botha and Meredith both picked up 2 wickets each. Arcy Short was player of the match.
