Manchester City qualified for the Semi-Final where they would be meeting with PSG, in style after winning Dortmund with the same scoreline as the first leg. Haaland has been in sensational form but he couldn't prevent his side from this exit at the hands of Manchester City.

Dortmund registered their intent in the 15th minute when Emre Can's long ball found Haaland who brilliantly shielded the ball and laid it on the path for Dahoud. His shot was blocked and the ball fell into the path of Bellingham whose brilliant curling effort found the back of the net as the goalkeeper was unable to properly keep it out. What a start.

In the 25th minute, the ever lively Kevin Debruyne thought he had restored parity when a defensive effort allowed the ball to trickle into his path again and his thumping shot was blocked from going in by the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Foden was found in the box and he did brilliantly well to keep the ball in play while he lofted it into the path of Mahrez. His brilliant shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

The first half ended with Dortmund going in ahead on the break. The hope of getting through was put to further test in the 52nd minute when Emre Can handle the ball in the box from a Phil Foden's cross. After the VAR reviewed it, a penalty was given. Riyad Mahrez stepped up and expertly dispatched the ball into the back of the net to make the scoreline 1-1.

In the 58th minute, City almost got themselves ahead when a brilliant corner kick was delivered into the box and the header almost found the back of the net if not for the alertness of the goalkeeper. Hummels also missed his header in the 68th minute after Reus delivered into the box. His header went over the bar.

Debruyne went all the way in the 74th minute with his piece of genius and individual brilliance. He did everything right but the end product was lacking as the goalkeeper kept his effort out.

City took the lead in the 75th minute when Foden was allowed too much space after an indirect corner kick was played and he gathered the pass. He struck a brilliant shot and it cannon off the pole into the back of the net to dent the hope of Dortmund and condemn them to an exit.

In the 82nd minute, Zinchenko had a lovely long-range shot saved by the goalkeeper. The game ended 2-1 in favour of City and Dortmund got dumped out of the competition. City dominated every aspect of the game even though both teams had brilliant chances to win it for their respective teams.
