Danny Ings Scored as Southampton shocked Liverpool.
It was quite tough tonight at Southampton's as Liverpool couldn't equalize a goal that was scored within the first 5 minutes of the match. It's really a bad result for Liverpool at the end of the day because Manchester United could top the league if the at least draw their next match against Burnley, and it would be quite difficult to think either Manchester United nor Liverpool would win when they face each other in 7 days from now.
Danny Ings who has featured in 13 premier league matches for Southampton this season scored his 7th goal for the season against Liverpool which was assisted by Ward-Prowse and also gave victory to Southampton.
Southampton has been quite great this season having 29 points after playing 17 matches, and the team has also scored 26 goals and conceded 19 goals. Peradventure Liverpool would win this league, it's definitely going to be a very tough one for them as we never can tell for how long Manchester United's consistency would last long for, what if it be forever? The the league has an owner I guess!
