Greetings to all and welcome to a new publication, today I wanted to vary the sport and talk about something that I also like a lot, tennis, and I think the best way to start is by talking about the one who, for me, is the best player in history of this sport.

In 2016 he had a bad season that made him leave the Top 10 after fourteen years, he had to undergo surgery for a meniscus tear operation and due to physical discomfort he was forced to abandon important competitions, such as Roland Garros. The following year and after having overcome his physical problems, he returned with the quality that he always used to be and was champion of the Australian Open for the fifth time and also obtained his eighth Wimbledon, that year he closed as the 2nd best in the world behind another legend, Rafa Nadal, and got 7 titles. In 2018 and after 6 years, he climbed back to first place after winning his twentieth Grand Slam and by 2019 he managed to win his 100th title and his 1200 victory as a professional player, his style of play is characterized by versatility , He always showed very good ability on all types of terrain and also his footwork was exceptional, praised by sports legends like Jimmy Connors:

In an era of stuntmen, you are either a clay court stuntman, a grass court stuntman or a hardcourt stuntman, or you are Roger Federer

John McEnroe refers to his forehand shot as the best shot ever seen in tennis history, with clay being the only terrain where Federer can be considered a more earthy opponent, as his backhand style of play makes him vulnerable. on this type of terrain where the game is slower, so to speak. Although at the beginning of his career he had quite a few problems with his temperament, time tempered him until he showed a cold attitude and enormous emotional control on the court, and to highlight his legend, he is the only male player in tennis history. in having won at least three of the four Grand Slam five times (Australian Open, Wimbledon and United States Open).
