2 other teams who will be seeking to redeem themselves as they take on each other at The American Express Community Stadium are Brighton and Hove Albion and Leicester City.

The Seagulls are on a winless run of 5 games which have seen them remain very close to the relegation zone

The Foxes are also winless in their last 3 games in all competitions themselves, leading to both their exit from the Europa League, and the reduction in the huge point gap between them and 4th placed, Chelsea, to just 3 points.

I bet you now have a full view of how important this game is to both teams as we go into the analysis of the game proper.

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION:

  1. Although the Seagulls can be barely seen to be a huge opposition for the Foxes, the fact that they, Brighton, have seen off the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool in their last 7 games is definitely something we should be wary of.
These huge wins against Spurs and the Reds would definitely provide some confindence for them as they go against the Foxes.
  2. The fact that Brendan Rodgers' Leicester have also not been impressive of late would definitely instill more confidence into Graham Potter's men as they fight to avoid getting back into the relegation zone.

Let's now take a look at the stats favoring the Foxes.

LEICESTER CITY:

  1. Although the Foxes look to be pretty bad of late, they still look better than the Seagulls if we are to compare both teams' results in their last 8 games In all competitions this season.
Leicester have managed 3 wins, 3 draws, and 2 losses compared to Brighton's 2 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses in as many games.
This would definitely provide Brendan Rodger's men some motivation going into this game.
  2. The bigger stat favoring the Foxes getting a win in this game is their better "head to head" against the Seagulls in the last 8 encounters between both sides.
Leicester City are unbeaten in these last 8 encounters, winning a whooping 6 and drawing the remaining 2.
A big one you want to say for Brendan Rodger's men.

CONCLUSION:
In all, you might just want to give this game to the Foxes which will be is well justified based on the stats before us.
However, I won't be suprised if we get a stuning result.

Don't forget to drop your takes, opinions, and predictions, they will be greatly appreciated.

Much love from your Football Analyst and Writer, IbkDaGreat.
