It's Manchester United who have their unbeaten away record on the line once as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park today.

We've got 3 games going down in the EPL today as we continue with our games for Matchday 27: Burnley taking on Leicester City, Sheffield United hosting Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace squaring off against Manchester United.

However, we will be dwelling on the game between the Eagles and the Red devils as the latter seek to extend their unbeaten away run of games in the EPL to 21, equalling Liverpool's own record if they succeed.

Shall we proceed to the analysis?

CRYSTAL PALACE:

  1. In truth, Roy Hodgson's men are no where as good as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men at the moment.
However, the fact that the Eagles were able to get the better of the Ref devils in their last encounter will definitely provide some huge psychological boost as they go into this game.
  2. This is not a stat, but a fact which we can't do but mention in favor of the Eagles.
Crystal Palace will be having the comfort of their home ground this time, giving them a chance to get something out of this game.

However, the fact stated above is what we lead us to the 1st stat favoring the Red devils getting a win in this game.

MANCHESTER UNITED:

  1. The Red devils better "head to head" over the Eagles is definitely one stat to consider as they've won 5, drawn 1, and lost 2 of their last 8 games Palace.
What makes this stat more interesting is United's impressive 3 wins in their last 3 visits to Selhurst Park.
You will most likely expect them to get a 4th, won't you?
  2. Another stat that tilts this game in favor of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men is their 20 unbeaten run of games away from home in the EPL which they will be looking to extend.
This stat will be further boosted considering the fact that even a draw would see them match Liverpool's record of 21 unbeaten games away from home, placing them in 2nd position with the Reds, and just 6 games away from Arsenal who sit at the summit of this record.

CONCLUSION:
In all, the Red devils look more likely to extend their unbeaten run of away games to 21.
However, I am also very much open to a stunner in this game.

Don't forget to drop your takes, opinions, and predictions as regards this game, they will be hugely appreciated.

Much love from your Football Analyst and Writer, IbkDaGreat

For me, I will go with the Red devils any day any time even though most days, those guys can be so annoying and inconsistent but I think they are afar off better than the crystal palace. But let's just wait and see how the game goes.
