Andrea Pirlo was born on May 19, 1979 in Flero (Italy).

From a very young age Pirlo demonstrated an unusual talent and was always involved in football.

At 6, Pirlo started playing football at the local club called Flero.
Pirlo played in this club until he was 9 years old.

In 1988, Pirlo joined the Voluntas team.
He played in this team until he was 9 years old.
In 1992, Pirlo was transferred to Brescia to play for juniors.

Pirlo made his debut for Brescia's first team in the 1994/95 season, when he was still 16, in a Serie A game against Reggina.

At this time Brescia was relegated to Serie B.

In the 1995/96 season, it was not a good season for Pirlo, as he was rarely called up.

In the 1996/97 season, Pirlo finally managed to earn his space in the team and ended up even being one of the highlights of the team in winning the title of champion of Serie B and consequently the promotion to Serie A.

Pirlo this season participated in 18 games and scored 2 goals.

In 1997/98, Brescia is relegated to Serie B.

In the 1st season at Inter Milan, season 1998/199, Pirlo managed to get his place in the squad of the team, but he was not a starter, having participated in 32 games and made 1 assist.
However, Inter Milan did not win any title and finished the championship in 8th place.

In the 1999/2000 season, Pirlo was loaned to Reggina in order to have more minutes of play as the competition at Inter Milan was very high.

In the 2000/2001 season, Pirlo still has no space at Inter Milan and ends up being loaned to his former club Brescia.

Pirlo for Brescia played only 10 games ,.

Finished the loan he returned to Inter Milan and once again I have almost no time playing only participated in 8 games.

In total this season, Pirlo only participated in 18 games.

In the 2001/2002 season, Pirlo was transferred from Inter Milan to rival AC Milan for 17 million euros.

In its 1st season for AC Milan, Pirlo demonstrated its talent and its evolution.
This season Pirlo has participated in 29 games, scored 2 goals and made 5 assists.

In the 2002/2003 season, Pirlo once again asserts itself at AC Milan by making great displays.
Despite this, AC Milan finished Serie A in 3rd place but won the Italian Cup and the Champions League in a final against Juventus.

In the 2003/2004 season, Pirlo and Ac Milan started the season in the best way by winning the European Super Cup. Pirlo also won the title of champion of Serie A, his 1st title in the championship.

At the end of the season Pirlo represented Italy in the 2004 European Championship held in Portugal.
However, Italy had a poor performance and did not pass the group stage.

In the 2004/2005 season, Pirlo began the season to win the Italian Super Cup. However, he ended up in 2nd place in Serie A and lost the Champions League final on penalties against Liverpool in that fernetic game that we all remember when AC Milan won 3-0 at halftime.

Pirlo was voted the best player in the final and the 3rd best player in the World Cup, although many thought he should have won.

In the 2006/2007 season, Pirlo continued to overcome a great moment and returned to win the Champions League again in a final against Liverpool.

However, he also won the title of champion of the Club World Cup.
At that time Pirlo was a key player at AC Milan and it was he who set the pace for the team.

This season Pirlo participated in 52 games, scored 3 goals and made 18 assists.

The 2007/2008 season started in the best way with the victory of the European Super Cup against Sevilla but in Serie A it did not go very well, finishing in 5th place and not winning any more titles.
This season Pirlo participated in 45 games, scored 5 goals and made 12 assists.

At Euro 2008, Italy even using the same base as the team that was world champion in 2006 ended up being eliminated in the quarter-finals by Spain.

In the 2008/2009 season Pirlo started to have several injuries that caused him to end up not having a not-so-good performance and having missed a few games.

In the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa, Italy and Pirlo did not pass the group stage.

In the 2010/2011 season, Pirlo and AC Milan won the title of champion of Serie A.
This season Pirlo participated in 25 games, scored 1 goal and made 3 assists.

After 10 years with AC Milan and feeling that his cycle at the club was over, Pirlo decides not to renew his contract with the club.

With AC Milan, Pirlo participated in 401 games, scored 41 goals, made 70 assists and won 9 titles.

In the 2001/2012 season he ended up signing at zero cost for Juventus.

Many critics doubted Pirlo's physical condition due to his 32 years and past injuries if he would be able to perform well.

Pirlo showed from an early age that he was still able to show his entire class.
Pirlo and Juventus were Seria A champions.

This season Pirlo participated in 41 games and scored 3 goals.

At the end of this season Pirlo represented Italy in the 2012 European Championship, where he lost in the final against Spain.

In the 2012/2013 season, Pirlo and Juventus soon began the season to win the Italian Super Cup and at the end of the season they would become two Serie A champions.

This season Pirlo participated in 45 games and scored 6 folos.
At the end of this season Pirlo represented Italy at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. This was the last World Cup disputed by Pirlo and unfortunately Italy fell a lot in the competition after not passing the group stage.
Pirlo announced his retirement from the National Team:

I would always be ready to return, but I would become a problem for the coach because I will always want to play. So you better stay home.

With the Italian national team, Pirlo participated in 116 games, scored 13 goals, made 23 assists and won 1 title.

In the 2014/2015 season, which would become the last storm for Juventus, Pirlo won the Serie A tetra-champion and the Italian cup.

The goodbye to the old lady could have been even better if Juventus had not lost the Champions League final against Barcelona.

With Juventus, Pirlo participated in 164 games, scored 19 goals, made 38 assists and won 7 titles.

After the end of his contract with Juventus, Pirlo decides to show his class and talent in the MLS more precisely in the service of New York City.

However, in the two seasons he was there he started to have several injuries.
Pirlo later said the following:

In some games I only played with my left foot, I had problems with my right knee and only used the opposite foot.

Pirlo's last game was in the MLS playoffs where Pirlo entered the last minute of the game to say goodbye to the fans.

With New York City FC, Pirlo participated in 62 games, scored 1 goal and made 9 assists.

In 22 years of career with clubs (Brescia, Reggina, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus) Pirlo participated in 756 games, scored 73 goals, made 119 assists and won 17 titles.

Pirlo was undoubtedly one of the midfielders with more class, category and elegance on the pitch, being fundamental to his teams without ever giving much attention.
