The league resumes after a weekend with some matches from Club Brugge that still needed to be played and the 2 cup semi-finals. Those resulted in a tiny 0.2 unit profit from betting overall and it's now time to move on to week 31 in the league with only 3 more weeks left in the regular season after this. One match as always on Friday...

Racing Genk vs Standard

Both these teams played last weekend and managed to qualify for the cup final which will be played a month from now. Genk is 3rd in the league and 3 points clear of place 5 for a playoff 1 spot. Standard is only 12th in the league and is 3 points away from place 8 which gives a spot in playoff 2. They lost their last 3 league matches (1-0 vs Moeskroen / 1-3 vs Anderlecht / 3-2 vs Zulte-Waregem) not impressing in any of those matches. Genk is a team with ups and downs this season and seems to be in a better flow again taking a deserved 2-0 win against Cercle after taking a really good start in that match. The match before they also took a good start against Standard and ended up with a 1-2 win which was quite flattering as they didn't play a good match. Overall I rate Genk as the better team at this moment, I expect them to continue the trend of taking a hot start in the match with Standard possibly speculating on the counters. Racing Genk does have a lot of scoring potential in their team which made me go with a small initial bet on Racing Genk Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.11. I will keep most betting for in-game.
