A Bug Perched on a Flower

When I see an insect perched on a flower, I inevitably think of Emily Dickinson's poem "To make a prairie" (1755):

"To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee,
One clover, and a bee.
And revery.
The revery alone will do,
If bees are few."

Now you will say that there is no connection between the photos I have prepared for you in this post and this poem, because I will show you flowers, not clover. And I'm going to talk about insects, not just bees.

But these are my brain associations. And they are unknown.

Because this poem always leads me to the thought of spring -

this spring, which we all look forward to so much, and it still does not come.

Did you know that it is snowing in some parts of my country at the moment?

And I'm lucky enough to live in the other, warmer part of the country.

But now let's get back to the topic of my post.

Don't you think that when an insect lands on a flower, it doesn't matter what insect it is - it could be just a fly, or a cockroach, or any not-so-pleasant insect.

But then it suddenly turns into a nice insect.

Because flowers are the natural beauties of our planet that make it much more beautiful than it is.

Can you imagine our planet without flowers?

I can not.
