Beet Webworm Moth part 1

Hello Guys ... How are you today?

(Beet Webworm Moth, when it opens its wings)

This Beet Webworm Moth, photographed in the same two locations but with different backgrounds, this happened because he felt my presence when he was about to be photographed. It is generally seen that he is resting from a plant and sugar located not far from his nest or territory.

In general, it appears that it is the same species although it is different, this is detected from the slightly different wing posture but the motive for the wings is the same, brown with white stripes in the middle. However, it is also called a moth.

I don't know much about him however, what I do know is that he is one of the majority of the moth race. Although its body size is very small, it can still be seen with a person's normal vision, because it is helped by its color if it is in green flowers or leaves. Although he seemed to be hiding from everything he was afraid of, it was also detected by my personal smartphone camera.

When they are on or coincide on the side of a plant that grows sideways, but it can't camouflage with its surroundings, unless it's on an object whose color is similar to the color of its wings. When it is on brown ground, human vision is also fooled by it as if it does not exist, but if you look closely you can see it clearly with normal human eyes.

The size is very small when compared to ordinary moths, or with an estimated size of about 10 mm or 1 inch, the size is measured from the tip of the right wing to the tip of the left wing. While the body is even smaller or about a third the size of its wings. This is what makes him not often exposed and rarely talked about his character on a daily basis. Most people only talk about ordinary moths in general or butterflies that are often seen flying in our every environment.

However, I will tell about his daily character according to my personal eyes, not with definite research results. As we all know, moths are active at night and butterflies are active during the day. However, he looks different from ordinary moths. Where is the difference? Here are some things about it that have been discovered.

(Beet Webworm Moth when closing its wings)

1. Slightly moving and active during the day

Basically moths are nocturnal, this is what distinguishes them from butterflies. However, this one species, is also not always silent during the day, he too, will fly at certain times, although it looks a lot silent during the day, he will also fly and look for something that is not known for certain. This is seen when you approach him while he is still in his chosen location.

By naked eye in seeing it, it also moves and flies at certain times such as in the morning (before the sun is visible) and in the evening (when the atmosphere is seen between dark and light). As for during the day he rarely moves and stays still in his perch. He will also move from the initial location to another location when he feels someone is following him (avoiding himself from things that are not good).

I confirmed this situation by approaching him at a distance of about 50 cm from his body, apparently he felt my presence as a fan and then he did the same thing as mentioned above.

Changing the location from one side to the other, which is the result of the displacement, I did it on purpose, this was done solely to get the pose in a different position, and as a result I got it. This behavior gets some of these little moth poses in two locations.

a. The first position, seen spreading its wings, and clearly visible when above, ornamental flower plants (seen in the photo above)

b. The second position, when closing its wings, this state has just arrived at a new location (as shown in figures 4,5,6, and 7).

2. Different wing colors

I'm interested in it, it looks at the two different wings, of course there are two different sides, namely the upper wing and the lower wing.

Interestingly, when this little moth spreads its wings, the colors look amazing, it has a pattern that almost resembles the flag of a country, which makes me even more attracted to it, and the pattern on its upper wing, makes one have an idea art especially the idea of making a flag that resembles the pattern on wing. The color is brown with white stripes or has small white long strokes, making the wings even more adorable in a creation.

That color, becomes different when it is seen that it closes its wings, when it lands on a small plant stalk, if the upper wings are brown with white stripes, then the lower wings are white with small spots in each fine vein line, then this is where the beauty lies hers.

Then the different motives also look very sweet when compared between the two sides of the wings, both up and down. An extraordinary masterpiece in achieving the success of a color that has been drawn on a small moth or one of the flying insects named Beet Webworm Moth

I admire it in a masterpiece and real
