Una avispa Nocturna / A Night Wasp [ESP - ENG]

Mis apreciados amigos de hive...

En una de las visitas que realicé a la comunidad de Mandingal en el estado Bolívar, donde además permanecí unos días acampando a la intemperie en una hamaca, me encontré con esta avispa que tiene su modo de vida cuando empieza a caer la tarde, una Insecto activo por las noches.

La misma, de acuerdo a lo investigado pertenece a la familia Vespidae del género Apoica y habita en las zonas bajas de América del sur.

Ellas tienen la particularidad de migrar y si comportamiento es de enjambres, son afectadas por los ciclos lunares.

In one of the visits I made to the community of Mandingal in the state of Bolivar, where I also spent a few days camping outdoors in a hammock, I came across this wasp that has its way of life when the afternoon begins to fall, an active insect at night.

According to the research, it belongs to the family Vespidae of the genus Apoica and lives in the lowlands of South America.

They have the particularity of migrating and if their behavior is swarming, they are affected by the lunar cycles.
