Greetings friends of #fascinantinginsects, today I want to share with all of you these images of this insect called "Mantis" totally charming for its peculiar way of displacement. I was able to take some pictures while observing it.

Estaba sentado en el suelo cuando de repente mi amigo Rubén me dijo que mirara ese insecto. Rápidamente me di cuenta de que era una mantis, con ese color verde típico de ellas y esas patas delanteras dobladas, algunos las llaman boxeadoras, porque cuando dos machos se encuentran luchan como boxeadores para marcar su territorio. Son grandes insectos. Este insecto venía hacia mí, cogí el móvil para hacer unas fotos y siguió andando.

I was sitting on the floor when suddenly my friend Ruben told me look at that insect. I quickly noticed that it was a mantis, with that green color typical of them and those bent front legs, some people call them boxers, because when two males meet they fight like boxers to mark their own territory. They are great insects. This insect was coming towards me, I took my cell phone to take some pictures and it kept walking.

Luego busqué una hoja seca para que pudiera abordarla. Entonces pudo abordarlo y fue cuando lo coloqué en una planta de tamaño medio. Se seguía moviendo, cuando acerqué el móvil se movió mucho.

Then I looked for a dry leaf so he could board it. Then he was able to tackle it and that's when I placed it on a medium-sized plant. It kept moving, when I brought the cell phone closer it moved too much.

When I took the photo, this insect saw its reflection in my cell phone and was curious, so it wanted to jump on the phone. It was very uneasy about my presence, probably uncomfortable or threatened.

Luego se colocó en la zona más verde para camuflarse con el color de las hojas de la planta y no ser visto por un depredador. Qué listos e inteligentes son estos insectos. Sin duda la naturaleza está llena de muchas cosas interesantes y bonitas como estos insectos y otras cosas. Cada día me asombro de las cosas que nos rodean.
