Butterfly of the walls (Pararge aegeria)

For a few weeks the good weather has been maintained, so I decided to go out in search of some insects and flowers that I could photograph.

After an hour of walking and searching through the forest I found this butterfly called the maculada or butterfly of the walls (Pararge aegeria) that was hovering near me and that I was able to photograph when it was bear on the ground for a few seconds.

Here I was able to capture it in profile and from the back, where you can see its beautiful patterns on its delicate wings, the small black specks and among its bright colors we can see the brown, orange and green that in contact with the sun becomes more bright.

Unfortunately I could not photograph her face in any of the images, she was flitting intermittently in search of damp places, her long and thin legs help her to adhere to any surface.
