With this butterfly you have to consider in which habitat it lives. On nutrient-poor grassland it is most likely Colias alfacariensis. If it is found on nutrient-rich meadows, it is definitely Colias hyale. To separate the two without any doubt, you need the caterpillars. They are clearly different.
