Spider Photography by Dmilliz! 21/092020
Howdy 🤠dmilliz here from the Reggaejahm community. Feel free to sub if you bout that reggae life.
Today I’m sharing some pictures I took on my brief hike. Now while this isn’t the first time I’ve taken photos of spiders and it’s definitely not the first time you’ve seen photos of spiders, just keep in mind we all need somewhere to dump post our photos. And the good thing is Hive now has communities that allow us the dump them into categories 😂
.
Seriously though, I actually love taking photos, especially relating to nature. You should have seen me on the hunt for some interesting snaps. While I did get more pictures of other insects, I just thought I’d categorize and also try to get the most out of my precious content. So enjoy the photos and leave a comment. Let’s dive into the pics
I’ve actually started using manual mode more on my mirrorless camera 📷, it’s like taking off the training wheels on a bike.
These spiders where everywhere on my hike trail. I call these regular spiders as I see them all over the place in Japan. The picture below is my favorite as the angle is just right.
At some point I’d like to get a micro lens and take those really close up shots where you can see the tiny hairs on the insects and they look like aliens 👽. I’ve been seeing some really good micro pics in this community ( yeah I actually pass through now and then.)
Most if not all of these pictures are of different spiders of the same species. I tried to snap various angles. I really liked how the side view pics came out ( next two shots below). Just makes me think how amazing a spider is and how the tips of those pointy legs maneuver its web so stealthily.
Right here , this is where I wish I had a micro lens. I wanna see the face, mount and eyes 👀 up close and personally ( though the lens of course). If you look closely it’s like the spider has a rectangular tribal mark on its stomach.
I loved the imperfection of this web and tats what makes it a perfect shot. There is beauty in imperfection and in this case it probably tells a story of a prey gone a stray. ( or some kid throwing a rock).
I saved this one for the last shot. In it you could can see baby spider in the background learning the webs 🕸. Ugh my eyes are dropping asleep 😴. I hope you don’t feel the same way reading my post. Then again this is a photo post and I just write as that is how we do things around here. 😂
Until next time, stay irie!!😎
Nice shots and beautiful photography!
Thanks, taking photos is very relaxing for me.👽
Very cool photos, sir!
It's a pity... but I won't be able to travel to Japan as I had intended. The airline allows me to make the flight, provided I have a negative corona test. However, test or no test, the Japanese authorities won't let me enter the country. 🙄
Thanks man.
Such a pitty. And if they did make you enter you'd have to quarantine for 2 weeks. Japan has been very strict with its immigration. Even permanent residence and other long term foreigners have been locked out for months. It is just now they are slowly able to return. Many are not happy at all with how japan handled foreigners who made Japan their home.
Yes, I know...
So it's a Quarantine of 2 weeks at the arrival, another 2 weeks of Quarantine on return... that means 20 working days of holidays are gone in the Quarantine. So, that leaves us what? A whole 2 days to enjoy a country? Nope, that won't work. 😔
It seems that the working class cannot travel anymore... now only unemployed people and retired people can travel... and since the unemployed don't have enough money, as well as many of the retired people... that leaves only a very small part of the population to travel:
No wonder Warren Buffet sold all his airline stocks. But then if all these airlines go bust, who will come in and scoop them up and creating something great?
It a mess, they really are screwing the travel industry with this pandemic
Maybe that's one of the goals in the first place.

I remember this kind of spiders from my trip to Japan.... They were in every park I visited. Good thing they're not poisonous.
Yup, they are very common, but many people here will say they have never seen them 😄
