... it's sunny again ... after a rainy week ... the insects are out again ... it looks like a bonus springtime of 2020 ...

This big, fat and colorful caterpillar ... is the caterpillar of the Spurge hawk-moth (Hyles euphorbiae) ...

Wow! Very fat one!! I think you helped this one to look colourful, You did paint more red dots on her body!! If you didn’t give her extra coating of paint, then you cats did it!

A beautiful caterpillar. You got its face, and its feet!

My granddaughter sent me the photo of a 'fuzzy' caterpillar she saw on her hike in Putnam County, New York yesterday. Not exotic but a bit of flora and fauna from autumnal USA :)
