Question... Do You Even Care?
I have a question and I would like to know your thoughts
because I am a little concerned about what is going on.
Why is it when people ask questions in their posts
others do not answer those questions in
the comments below?
Since I have come back and started posting again,
I am noticing a lack of commenting.
But not just my posts, in many other people's posts.
If you will notice, I try very hard to ask questions in my posts
to start up conversations. Yes, the votes are nice because they are helping me get to that RV I so desperately want,
but that is not the reason I ask questions.
I ask because I REALLY want to know!!!
I want to experience a conversation with others that
does not require being in the Discord all the time.
Don't get me wrong, I love Discord!
I helped to create @theterminal after all!

But the way of getting to know each other by having specific
conversations is interesting and it also enables
others to join in the conversation I am wanting.
It helps us to have a focused conversation while not having to
be distracted by flashing lights and people in and out all the time.

Don't know. I know that when the steem/hive split became a reality, engagement went down the tubes. I even throw out some simple questions and offer up Hive or HBI on occasion and still nobody answers. Not just you, it's everywhere. I think there are still a lot of people that feel betrayed by more than just Justin Sun.
I had not thought about that. You are probably correct. Plus people get so caught up in their own life. I know I get guilty of that.
What do you think would be a way to bring the conversation back?
I always try to make it a point to comment when voting on a post. I have been raising Cain about this subject for quite a long time. Now I just try to practice what I preach.

it definitely is time consuming. I am always amazed at how much you accomplish.
This is the closest to a complaint you'll probably ever hear or read from the kittygirl. She probably gets more done in a day than I do in a week. 😁😁👍

I received quite a lot of upvotes on my first few photo posts which made me enthausiastic. I was really earning money with it. But the (human) responses were somewhat dissapointing.
A good comment on your post or even criticism is more worth to me an upvotes.
I recently wrote a blog about my experiences in my first month on Hive. In the blog I made a suggestion to increase the rewards on comments. I don't know if it's possible, but it could be a positive incentive.

Oh wow. I think this is maybe my second time running into you! I need to dash over to your page. I love looking and responding about photos. Scott does photography with a "real" camera and I do with my phone camera so there is always an interest. Following you is necessary!

I create a weekly post of all photo contests too. There are many beautiful photo's to comment on :)
And it's not the camera, but the one behind the camera that takes a nice picture. I've seen many shots taken with smartphones that were fantastic and even more pictures taken with expensive camera's that were terrible 😂
