I've shared this many times in comments and in DM with folks, just yesterday my friend @frostyamber was using the old :D instead of 😄 icon from the button top right.
I had shared this with her about a month ago, but she couldn't find where she'd saved it, so here it is, in plain sight for anyone to use.
(Remember, if you want just the code, add a semi colon ; )
If you type in the codes that begin with the & and end with the ; (which you cannot see because... well it is code)
You'll get the emoticon next to the line of symbols.

When I started in Steemit in 2017, I was given lots of tips and help by @scrooger, and quite a few others.

Someone gave me the emoji site when I was a newbie too and I have enjoyed it.
It is good to help others.
I have a doc saved, this isn't from a website, or it may be, but I didn't get them there @jacey.boldart
On the otherhand, they probably originated on one, and those near the bottom that I said "I scrounged" and added, probably did come from a search
