I am looking forward to your entries!

Here are my photos for today.

I found this large moth crawling very fast up the brick wall. At first I thought it was a Rustic moth but it has white lines on the wings instead of white, kidney shaped marks.

Then I thought maybe it might be a Dagger moth but couldn't find one with this color while doing my research.

I was so 'focused' on quickly getting photos that I didn't even see that spider on the left side. You know me, if I had seen it I would have run away.

Because it is a large moth, I wondered if it was in the Sphinx or Hawk moth families? But it doesn't look similar to them. What I do know is that I spent countless days and hours researching but to no avail. If anyone can identify this moth, please let me know.

I was standing over the moth here, hoping to capture its face.

Thanks for stopping by!

All photos are my own.

Proof of transfer.

Hello Dear @whatisnew! Wow! what and interesting moth! Unfortunately, I am far from being n expert, so if you don't know, I definitely can't help you! I also took photo of a moth that I have no idea what kind it is, but I couldn't get a good shot, because she was hiding from me, in the bushes, lol.
Anyway, this is my entry:

And this is the moth I tried to capture back in summertime:

Hello @whatisnew thank you very much for the mention! Like you I will take the task to investigate about this night moth which by the way is very strange. Interesting, as soon as I have some information I'll pass it on. I'll leave my entry anyway. Grateful!

Congratulations to the winning users.

Hi Cheerleader! I am sorry to hear that the insects have not been visiting you. Not even a spider? Good luck with your search. : )

Amiga @whatisnew, saludos. Triste. Perdí mis poderes, jajaja. Será para la próxima jejeje.

Friend @whatisnew, regards. You can't imagine the hours I spent in my garden, looking for bugs. Not even a spider. Yesterday I went out, and a yellow butterfly passed in front of me. I chased her and asked her to stop. I started to beg and she still never stopped, more than a few seconds, on a sheet. Sad. I lost my powers, hahaha. It will be for the next jejeje.

Don't you get sick again!
I have a Canon Power Shot ELPH 180. I would love to have a macro lens but since I can't work anymore I don't know if I will ever be able to get one. I am just grateful that I have a camera.

Ah, I don't usually get sick much and never twice in the same season.
The reason I ask about your rig is because I may have something you might be interested in...

Howdy again Butterfly! I don't understand, what has been driving you crazy, people calling that plain moth ugly?

Howdy Jonboy? As far as moths go, this one is interesting. No, the thing that drove me crazy with this moth is not being able to identify it after countless hours and days of research. I hate not being able to find answers.

Oh, ok I see. How do you go about finding the name of a species of moth or bug or butterfly?

I do what you do. Lots of research on the internet starting with images first. Every little bit of info leads to more and more and more, until I finally have a name.

Isn't there an app where you just put in a photo and it identifies it? They say there's one for flowers like that.
