Why not say to use the hive+number as the first tag to post? With a slow connection like mine it is impossible to start a site and wait and write and load photos and try again and again and try to save....

It doesn't work with the hive- tag, it will not post to that community. You have to post from the hive/community page to get it into the specific community, then resteem your own post to send it out to your followers.
Why? I use several hives as first tag and it works. Did they change something lately or it always been this way? I guess for the next days nothing will work if it comes to the hives. 💕
Hi Kitty! When the communities went live, me and others could no longer post using the hive number. I do not use apps either. If you know of a way to post in a community by using the hive number first, please let me know so that I can tell others. Thanks! No bugs here either but hopefully it will warm up soon for both of us. You have a great day too! : )
Do or did you post with steemit.com? There's somewhere an.option you can choose posting in your blog or in a hive. I have posting in a blog. If you chose that option it's posdible to type hive-x as first tag, same eith every dapp you use. Only Steempeak has an option to choose/scroll through your list of communities and pick the one you need.
With partiko it always works. I guess we need to wait now how everything works out for a week or so if it comes to the communities. I hope it will be easier and the resteeming is a problem too. 💕
I post with steemit.com in the community which shows up in my posts. If I resteem from the community it will show up in my blog also. dapps drive me crazy because I don't use them and know nothing about them. Just use whatever works best for you.
In steemit.com I have set: posting in my blogs!
Each post is posted in my blogs unless I type the hive plus number as a first tag. In that case, it only shows up in my posts and the community and I need to resteem my post to be seen by everyone. But to be honest I resteem each post because I am not sure if it works good enough.
The option where to post I could only choose if I sign out first and next sign in.
You can also use Steempeak they have the community function there as well.
Also if you subscribe to the community it will show up on your blog page.
I know you can use Steempeak but it's a site which I can hardly load plus if you didn't choose "posting in your blog" I believe everything you post is posted into the same community. I made that mistake several times and what is annoying is you cannot undo it. Well, after the weekend coming up/next week nothing will be the same and Steempeak will not only change it's name.
