In his farewell address as president, Dwight D. Eisenhower discusses the emergence of the "Military Industrial Complex," and he presents a warning to the people regarding this powerful force.

He speaks of peace and balance.

It's a very powerful final address to the people.

It comes to mind for me almost every time political financial debates arise.
