I honestly don't understand hbd at all and just convert as soon as I get any cause then I get more have per hbd while hive is lower in value.

All you really need to know is that HBD absorbs a lot of our inflation while it has demand. If it loses demand all that inflation floods the ecosystem. I'm looking for ways to stabilize the peg and prevent the flood of inflation from tanking Hive during the next bear market.
So it typically makes no sense to hold HBD long term? Im basically only holding now to get hive at cheaper rate

The value will only go down over time.
