Seeds and Pollen and Buds - Oh my!
We made it!
Are you ready to start breeding your own plants or growing sensimilla buds that contain the highest amount of cannabinoids? Now you can, with the new Hashkings update!
The game now includes:
- Seeds
- Pollen
- Buds
- Female Plants
- Male Plants
Seeds
When planted grow to either male or female plants (sex is determined when reaching veg stage) and can be of type Indica, Sativa or Hybrid. At the moment there are Genesis Seeds available in the Hashkings Market but Beta Seeds are only available through growing genesis seeds to completion or from other players. Visit the Discord to get in touch with other users.
Pollen
Pollen is produced by growing a male plant to completion and can be used for breeding. Once a female plant reaches stage 3(flowering), pollen can be added to your plants to create Hybrid seeds. You can get in touch with other users to purchase pollen in our Discord.
This is how you make your own strains!
Buds
Buds are the result of growing a female plant to completion without pollination. At the moment a use-case has not been implemented but will be in the coming weeks.
Female Plants
Female plants can be of variety Indica, Sativa and Hybrid. When grown to completion without being pollinated these plants will produce nice resinous buds which contain NO SEEDS.
Once your Female Plant reaches flowering you are able to pollinate and produce Hybrid Seeds at Harvest.
Male Plants
Male plants have the specific purpose of producing pollen at Harvest. This pollen is used to create Hybrids when mixed with a Female Plant during Flowering.
UI Changes
In the Farm you will see a new button which is used to Pollinate plants. When you click on it you will be asked to choose pollen and to choose a plot to pollinate. Here you can also whether or not your plant can be pollinated, the name of the strain, the name of the Region and where it is located.
In the Inventory we have added the amount of pollen and which kind you have as well as the amount of buds that you own and the names of each strain.
Our Inventory Exchange is how you send seeds, pollen or buds to other users. Simply type in the name of the user you would like to send to, choose a seed, click send and sign the transaction.

Why you making it harder!!! Lolololol. Nah looks cool but its unlike any other pot farming game. All the others are like farmville. I can see where this would teach you the basics that can make learning to actually grow for yourselves seem easier by introduction of terms and processes that are true to growing cannabis. Right on.
You nailed it, that's exactly the point. I want people to gain knowledge, have fun and be rewarded for it. Hopefully Hashkings can help users learn some basic economy and grow their own plants. You are right though it is getting a bit "harder" but that's because it's evolving!
