Personally, I'm holding off on my yearly Halloween rampage until the first of October, but I was in Home Depot earlier, and they had their display already up.

There were some new ones, including a pirate theme...so I had to at least check it out for a few minutes ;>

The big ticket item was the pirate ship (hello Blue Splinterlands team ;>) at $349

Yes, it's 9 feet long.

There are 5 other items in this line, including a pirate rowboat at 150 bucks, and another 3 items that are pirate themed that could fit in (another pirate ship which is closer to the cutesy side of Halloween, for example).

Something that I thought was from last year, but seems a little different this year, was a Headless Horseman display at $250.

This one looks good, but it seems to me that there was a better one last year, and this one is kind of lackluster in what I would want for 250 bucks

They have the usual selection of interesting light displays, fog machines, headstones, stand-up displays etc. These run the range from witches and skeletons to some Halloween movie themes like Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas...

But there is something new this year

These are over 8 feet tall, and Home Depot has them for sale for $200. Even better, the displays are customizable, so you can record your own movie to play on this display!

Damn, I wish I was rich, and I wish it was time to start doing Halloween stuff this year!
