Cook for a week with €20,= week 8.7

Hive Witness Update First post

Tonight I didn't want to make a new dinner, I had some old frozen dinner in the freezer so I took a polisch meatball and the plastic bag of food and unfroze it in the microwave. I still had some gravy and peas left so I did that too and cooked some water 250ml for the mashed potatoes.

After I unfroze the meatball and the meal I put the meatball in the gravy and the meal in a baking pan to heat it further. When the water was cooked I made the mashed potatoes put some extra salt, pepper and nootmuskaat in it and added this to the rest of the meal in the pan.

The result is the picture above. This was clear thinking just putting it in a plastic bag in the freezer to save space, later on when you need it just use it. The extra peas were extra but otherwise I could trow them away and only peas in the freezer.. hmm wait I could have frozen them stupid me.

Why put it in bags? Because it saves so much space in the freezer.

Tomorrow I must go shopping again and I will buy the following groceries.

potatoes
creme fraice
smac(the cheap one this is expensive)
macaroni
tomatenpuree

I still have bread and beer so this should be good. I'm freezing the bread in portions to save more space. This groceries are good for a week of eating. I still have some other meal in the freezer Also the chicken I have frozen during the last year. I'm forgetting to leave the frozen meal in the fridge the night before so I must use the microwave time after time. I will think of that in the future because it saves double the energy from unfreezing in the microwave and not having to cool the stuff in the fridge because of the frozen meal or chicken in the fridge.

I still have a few Kip tandoori meals left or something that looks like this so I have enough for a few weeks.

If I run out of beer I will buy some at the lidl for 2,50 for 6 cans of beer instead of heineken for 4,50 at albertheijn
and you get drunk from both so it doesn't matter if you buy the cheeper one.
