Found a great dig on Saul Alinsky within the FBI Vault dump

Scroll to page 305 & read thru page 313 or so.
Of note is Alinsky's "organization" using churches, schools (SMU is one) and student orgs of the day (late 1960's).

It was wise to be watching him, although that wasn't quite enough by the time he'd created the chaos that was the 1969 Democratic National Convention in his hometown Chicago.

The profile compiled by the Chicago FBI Field Office starting on page 318 is also eye opening.

The entire file is an interesting look at that deluded man. Important to keep events that were big in the late 60's (which were pretty wild) in mind as you're reading through it. The FBI had themselves a giant damn powder keg, and were trying to spray water on anything that started looking hot.

I concluded that it's likely that Alinsky's influence on Chicago is a major reason it's the way it is today, 50 years later. For Hillary to idolize him the way she obviously did when she wrote that master's thesis speaks volumes about her.
