Sun halos becoming more common but what does it mean?

Spotted this one moments ago and felt like writing a quick post because there has been an explosion in sightings this year, which is weird because people have been outside much less than normal.

This film documents some of the recent sightings, amongst other things.

Hundreds of people in Florida felt the need to call the authorities when they spotted a sun halo at the beginning of May. Article here

We are told by the MSM these events are common, but if that is true why are so many people noticing them now, likely for the first time in their lives? Getting freaked out enough to call the authorities?

"It's like a giant coronavirus in the sky! Come save me quick!" .

And why do I see them almost every week above my home? Sometimes all day long.

For sure it wasn't like this a few years ago.

Could it be that people's connection with nature has somehow been heightened due to the recent enforced lack of connection with nature? That doesn't sound right.

I have been an avid sky watcher most of my life and what I can tell you is that I am seeing way more unique events in the sky now than I did a few years ago.

Take this moon halo for example. I spotted it just two months ago.

Have you ever seen anything like this before?

I hadn't.

Even the double rainbows are pretty frequent now.

So, if the frequency of these kind of events really is increasing, what does it mean?

More moisture, lower air temperature

We could sum all of this up with the logical conclusion there is simply more moisture and lower air temperature. After all, the mainstream explanation for sun halos is ice crystals in stratus cloud, refracting the sunlight. And perhaps this really is the answer, but when we look at the bigger picture we might also say that atmospheric conditions on our great playground are changing.

But why are they changing? Is it us humans doing this, or is it a natural cycle? Or is it perhaps something more devious like the side effects of bio-engineering?

Personally I believe it is a natural cycle which goes by the name Grand Solar Minimum. They are rare and they are devastating.

It is a long period of minimal sunspot activity accompanied by extreme weather and lower temperatures. And in case you think hiding in the southern hemisphere is your way out, volcanic & seismic activity also increase in these periods, often creating enough ash to block out the sun for months.

Grand Solar Minimums do not lend themselves to food production and if we study history we can see that empires rise and fall with our average temperature.

And this my friends is why I keep going on about growing food. There is no better time to get started.

You know what to do.

We don't need no stinkin' sun + Co2 for food and things - ask the climate change cult..

Yeah right! All we need is those darn politicians to listen to us and then everything will change for good. Coz listening is what they do best. They really care about us ;)

My theory is that the ancient re;igion of worshipping the sun is making the sun holy again.

PS: Just saw a vid abt stinging nettle being one of the most nutritious foods. Ever tried to use it?

PPS: Been a long time since we communicated and without thinking it through, I looked for you as Samstone and found a poster who sounds like you and even maybe looks a bit like you, but he was more interested in teaching us how to make money.

...but then, any world with people like @lucylin and myself in it is bound to be a weird world :)

That ancient religion you mentioned is still alive and well in my life. Made this film about sun-gazing three years ago.

And have just returned now from my morning session, fresh with Universal Instructions for my 44th year in this body. It is my birthday today ;)

Always a pleasure to see you here old friend.
