Street Art #270 Tchekon & Shok, Montreal
During a walk last fall, I discovered at the corner of an alley a stunning set of murals, a little old but still in good condition (pretty rare it's generally ephemeral).
I didn't find the names of the artists for each mural, only Tchekon and Shok.
Shok for the lettering (on the left), the central character unknow and the other side of the wall Tchekon

Tchekon
Vania Tchekoff aka Tchekon is a French artist based based in Bordeaux (France) and Montréal (Canada). His style is very geometric with lines and abstract forms.
I'm not sure if he's still active in Montreal now. I didn't see other works done by him and the last post on his blog was in 2017. Too bad... In 2018, I took this picture of his mural about climate change (very degraded today) :
Tchekon (rue MarieAnne)
While doing research on this artist, I saw an article about his exhibition made in Montreal in 2017... I really like, very simple but effective... Some pics from his blog :
Shok
Shok is writer based in Montreal who started to paint walls in the 90's.
Drop Your Skillz
On the other wall, anotre great mural Drop Your Skillz but I don't find any information about the artists behind it.

I know any of the artists, but I like the Tchekon. Great art!
Yeah great mural and it's cool they're in pretty good shape despite all these years.
