Henna is probably okay for you to use but just don't go back to using regular hair dye after use until your hair has grown long enough that you have cut it all off. True Henna is a red color that stains the hair. Red is incredibly hard to remove from the hair once it's there but that really isn't the problem as much as Henna colors that are not red may have metalic dyes in them, going back to the use of hair dyes that use oxidizers will burn your hair off when mixed with metalic dyes. Don't try and bleach it out either, that would result in the same. Products that contain metalics like some hair lighters like Sun in can never be colored or permed after a henna application.

I had a girl once who wanted a spiral perm and lucky I noticed her hair seem to be reflectively shiny. I did a test with some ends of her hair and she was so grateful after watching the hair literally melt in the bowl that I caught that because she'd never thought putting light streaks using those instance hair lighteners was something she'd felt she needed to tell me.

Like those beady looking dark eyes.

Oh ok. That makes sense then. I was surprised how much can go into hair dying. I could probably do a post or two on just my limited recent knowledge. lol
