Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

The book of Ezra narrates facts of the people of Israel upon their return from their deportation from Babylon, describing the difficult decisions that the Israelites of that time had to assume.

Today the Golden Center has given me a verse from the book of Ezra which highlights the obedience that we must have that gives us the blessing of receiving the Lord's help.

Today we are immersed in a society which with its deceptions can divert us from our responsibilities as children of God, so this verse reminds me that I must take my life in obedience to the Lord who is attentive to help me to follow the path given by Him .

Through prayer, reading and daily meditation of the Holy Scriptures as believers we can reach the degree of spiritual maturity that allows us to live in obedience to God's law. This verse also confirms the merciful nature of the Lord in which despite our sinful nature it gives us encouragement so that we can face the daily challenges of our lives.
