Osiris, the Chosen - A Light deck for Gods Unchained

I tried a meme deck. Well... a variation of a meme deck. Not long ago I watched a fellow streamer play a Chosen One deck with only one creature in it, Osiris, the Eternal.

The concept is great. Only one creature in your deck, so Osiris gets all the Chosen One buffs. And then, goes back in your deck everytime he dies AND he keeps his buffs! With the Chosen One power, that could end up being a super powerful creature drop!

Unfortunately, it wasn't that successful. Having only one creature really limits your options and Light is not known for its removal spells. Every once in a while you'll end up with a 28/29 Osiris on the board, but just as often, he'll be removed immediately via Deadly, Ratify. Reap or even worse, stolen by your opponent and used to kill you!

Coincidentally enough, the next evening, watching a different streamer, I discovered that they were also playing with a Chosen Visions deck. This one was a little different. It focused on Dragon Tooth Warriors. And I have to say, the hilarity involved when someone starts pinging a buffed up Warrior without paying attention to its ability is well worth it!

I decided to try a hybrid of both, borrowing an Osiris from z3ll and purchasing two Highborn Knights (damn those guys are expensive!). Unfortunately, at the beginning, I didn't have any Light's Levy spells. But there was about a week between the two stream videos posted below, and in between, I landed one Light's Levy, a second Devoted Follower, and in the level 100 Legendary Pack, the Triumvirate Prophet. These were all added to my deck, diluting the creature pool to eight total. You can see my efforts with this second iteration of the deck. Less and 50% winrate, though I was playing at Mythic rank at the time.

It is difficult to present a threat to your opponent and build up your Chosen One at the same time... especially when you may never end up with your Chosen One on the board due to bad luck.

It feels like there should be some potential here. Perhaps with fewer creatures, perhaps with more. Maybe focusing on some Anubian synergies? Or maybe more Ward, replacing someone with the Dryder Sailweavers.

If anyone has tried a Chosen Visions deck I would love to hear about your experiences with it!
