Just another crappy day in paradise!

Here it is Sunday, one more Sunday in a long line of 'em.

Lucky for me, it is happening on a warm day in January.

It has been very warm here, this year.
In fact, since I have come back from mexico in '13 we have had 4 of the warmest winters on record.

That is ominous, to me.
What happens when the pendulum swings the other way?

When do we get hammered to bring our numbers back in line with the average?

I know it is going to happen.

I'm hoping to be in mexico for that.

I know while I was away we got hit by one of the worst ice storms in a long time.
Two feet of snow in streets.
Brrr.
Glad I missed it.

So, if you got any influence on the price, it would be nice if you could moon it before next winter.
Or, even better, before the next cold front gets here.

I can't figure out for the life of me why my ancestors would agree to remain here.

I mean, it's no Buffalo, NY, but c'mon, this snow and ice thing is for the polar bears and sea lions, imo.

The weatherman said there would be 4 inches of snow on the ground today, nope.
Gonna be 55 degrees.
Tomorrow will be even warmer.
I like it, but the pendulum has to swing back, doesn't it?

It swings twice a year here. On Halloween and on the first of May, hehe.

The temperature here in the Northeast, U.S. of A has been over 60F for the past two days...at least where I'm at :>)

Strange, but enjoyable. I almost hate to mention it with a smile, because that might jinx things...!?!?!?!?

Me, too.
Though, cold is nice sometimes.
In small doses.

@jang's space weather posts say we have bigger problems coming this century.
Micronova sun.
Pole shift.
Shrinking magnetosphere.
All classified by the c-a in the 50's, but coming into the open now.

Well, very possible because the sun does seem to have been growing brighter in recent years...and from what I remember hearing, that is exactly what stars do before they blow....

It's supposed to cycle in a 12k year cycle, and it's been ~11,999 since the last micronova!

Lol, c'mon, it's just one more thing to survive!
I think half the planet won't get much choice.

The earth stopping and the oceans still going 1k mph is going to make a big wave to ride!
Bye, bye, california!
They say the wave will top the rockies and return to the gulf through the plains.

It's no wonder they locked that knowledge up.
Could you imagine this comng out 40 years ago?

Top the Rockies…!?!?!?!? No problem though, cause I got my houseboat almost completed and already coaxed twenty maidens aboard for the launch.

Gives new meaning to 'Maiden Voyage', no?

Lol, yep.

The ocean is going away on the east coast, at least until the earth starts moving again.
Hope that houseboat is on a tall hill to catch that return wave.
