Hello dear minnows and plankton!!

It is with mixed feelings that I am posting this final (?) episode of the "Feed Your Minnows" giveaway…

@scrooger and I have been doing this giveaway (in collaboration with @feedyourminnows for over a year – 70 weekly episodes. Over 60 Minnow Steemians won lifetime membership with @feedyourminnows upvote bot and countless more benefited from automatic daily upvotes from me. I want to thank each and every past participant of this giveaway! <3

But as the last two episodes failed to attract eligible participants, we decided to end the giveaway. So this is our final (at least for now) episode on my blog – and the final season on @scrooger’s.

Needless to say, all the past winners of the giveaway will keep their membership with @feedyourminnows and enjoy the lifetime of automatic upvotes from the bot.

And, who knows, maybe new Steemians discover Steem in the future, this giveaway series might see a revival. Until then – we will still stick around and STEEM ON!!

I’m sorry to see you go, it’s probably Steemians like myself that just get busy with life and take long breaks. I hope that we get a new influx of new members soon enough so that we can get you guys going again. Thank you for what you do!

I am sorry to hear this great way to help minnow and plankton will stop. Perhaps you can be harder found or it is the fear for bidbots and being downvoted that stops them to join?

Thank you, dear @wakeupkitty, for your kind words! Hopefully some form of a new giveaway will see the light of day, if Steem enjoys more user activity in the future. For now it’s awfully quiet in here. Maybe the upcoming SteemFest<sup4 will breath some new life into this platform. That, and the upcoming Communities/SMT. Really looking forward to those features!

Many left and more will. The downvote mafia is killing people and accounts. The newbies cannot survive thanks to the rules and all exceptions why not to get paid, content is not yours so if you just want to blog there are better places. If you just want to earn this is not the place.
