Blue Ternate Finally With Blossoms
Hi fellow garden enthusiasts,
Finally taking that sigh of relief as I take a look at these beautiful deep blue flowers in my patio. It was never easy for me to grow this shrub. I had always been attracted by the color of the flowers of a Blue Ternate when I see it online. Almost unbelievable that I know can look at it in real life in my patio. Thank God it had survived.
It is my first time to grow one. I felt unsure at first because in the past I had beautiful flowering plants I bought that dried and died in weeks. This blue pigeon wings or clitoria ternatea is different. I can forget about it and still manage to thrive isn't that amazing?
People use the flowers color a food or a drink. I saw a video about a rice cake made purple because of this flower. Others use it in their tea. A change in pH will turn blue into pink in some drinks.
There goes a happy visitor. That is what I like about gardens no matter how small they attract little visitors like this butterfly. July had started and I missed the Garden Journal for June of @simplymike 🦋. There will be a next time though but I couldn't wait for it. My joy I can't contain just seeing my flowers.
Until next post,
Gus
Love the post and happy butterfly/moth. Those aggressive vines that produce the nice flowers are the best.
I gave you a reblog as your post is solid and I hope other folks agree.
Thank you very much for your support indeed I saw a lot of engagement on this post and that is very encouraging 😊
