What Do I Mean, Nothing is a Waste?

I have been observing this for a couple of months and I kept on asking why do people waste resources? Here in Nigeria, it has been our culture to get rid of waste product either by burning, dipping into pit or dropping into trash boxes. These are appropriate ways of getting rid of waste, here I mean fruit waste or vegetable waste. That is the more reason why as individual you must practice Agriculture even if it just in your backyard or frontyard. To know exactly how to utilize waste product.

Guess What?

Do you know I use 15steem each week to buy fruit waste such as Oranges, cucumber,Watermelon from fruit seller beside the road?

That is to tell you that when you are totally into Agriculture, nothing seems to be a waste ,although sometimes you may feel embraced while buying spoilt fruits and you leave the healthy fruits untouched. I purposely brought this to steemit to show how dedicated I am to animals even going to the extent of buying bad or spoilt fruits for my rabbits. I was just passing by and I saw all this spoilt fruits along the road side with a fruit seller and I negotiated with him and at the end I bought them for my animals.

You've been visited by @minismallholding from Homesteaders Co-op.

Are those oranges? I didn't realise rabbits could eat citrus. Most things say they shouldn't or won't. It doesn't seem to be causing too many issues with your rabbits though. Waste not want not.

Yes, they are citrus ( Oranges) I bought them as they were I mean spoilt oranges and fed them to my rabbits. Yes , oranges do not do any harm at all that is the main reason why Agriculture is all about Practical. Not just documentary or written theory. There are many things written for so many years or decades but now it changes.

So true. It's funny how many things we've been taught are toxic to eat in western countries, then toy discover that people in other countries eat them regularly and have less of our common illnesses. If you break down a food's components, it may well have a toxin in it, but they're only just starting to realise that these toxins are harmless, sometimes even helpful, when consumed as a whole food.
