My local grocery store, Food Lion, has this fun fall display. Mr. Scarecrow is ready to turn the fields. I'm not really sure about him though, the way he is all slumped over, I'm thinking he may have had Tee Many Martoonies last night. ha ha

I guess it could be that he is just spineless. 😅

You can't have a valid fall offering around here without a few mums. I am wondering where the other colors are.

A little close up of some that were inside. I love these with the "daisy like" centers.

..... and pumpkins..... the delightfully fun pumpkins.

... never too many pumpkins....

If you don't want to carve your own, here !...... buy one that already has a light in it. I thought these were cute.

Ok ! .... that's my Food Lion fall offering. The Scarecrow on the tractor was fun, wasn't it ?

I am going to visit my Mom this afternoon. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.... ? I can't think of one.

Hope you all have a most wonderful day.

Love you !

Thanks !

yes.... it is time to get all the fall stuff in while ya can ! .... before Christmas takes over... ha ha .... not that I don't adore some Christmas stuff.

I love carving pumpkins. They don't have to look like much in the daylight, it's after dark that counts.

Years ago my husband and I sold pumpkins out of our back yard. We would get them by the truckload from the farmers that grew them. There always ended up being a few funny colored ones or oddly shaped ones that would be passed over. About 4 days before Halloween, I'd start carving the ugly ones first and every night we would light up however many I had carved. One year, it ended up being about 45 and at night, our yard looked amazing with all of them lit up. I had put everything I could find to put them on so they would be all different heights. It didn't look great in the day...LOL... but the night time made up for it. Talk about a traffice jam !! Fun Fun !
