Spring brings flowers while Australia slowly burns....

Afternoon Steemers,
With a lot of Australia on fire and no rain forecast for quite some time I have really been appreciating the fact things are still flowering here at all.....let's just hope they are not just stress flowers!

Please scroll on to see some of my favourites from today.

Adeniums rarely disappoint and the common name "Desert Rose" couldn't be more fitting.

Salvia 'Indigo Spires' is another hardy plant that loves the warmer months.

This Salvia produces the goods all year round, no idea of the cultivar unfortunately.

Mexican Tarragon has a very strong licorice like smell and also flowers most of the year here in Brisbane.

Acacia Trees are going off at the moment, can anyone guess the species of this rare and endangered Acacia?

That's all for now steemy ones.
May your soil be alive and happy gardening,
Sam.

Gotta love those Salvias especially the elusive ones. That one with blue flowers looks divine.

Nice to see the North Brother wattle in flower too!

We are also roasting over here :(
If it's a rare acacia, it was growing wild around my place. Yet another invasive here
