Dota 2 Hero Story, Abaddon the strongest prince of avernus
Abaddon was one of the children of the avernus family and was the strongest prince. The source of strength from the avernus family is baptism, they baptize all newborn children including Abaddon on a large rock called the Primal Stone which has cracks and gives out "black mist". The Avernus family believes that anyone who bathes with the black mist will get mystical power. No one could come to the place of stone except the Avernus family, they did not want the legacy of their ancestors to be taken by others and get strength as well. And when little Abaddon was bathed in black mist something happened to him, his eyes gave off light and confused the Avernus family with what had happened.
Abaddon also grew up with the hope of everyone that he was the leader of the family in the future. He was taught to fight to lead his family and to preserve their sacred place, the black mist. But Abaddon always separated himself from his training and his family to meditate in the holy place. Abaddon inadvertently breathed too much steam out of the Primal Stone, and he turned into a creature of black mist. When the war arrived, they saw how strong the power of the black mist that existed in Abaddon could control life and death.
Because Abaddon had a strong bond with the black mist, Abaddon was hated with all the demons including the immortal demon of hell also hating him. Abaddon was also hostile to Nyx, the queen of Zaelot Scarabs. Nyx had several times sent troops to kill Abadoon and destroy his family to get the power Abaddon had, but all of Nyx's efforts to kill Abaddon ended in the death of his own army. Even now Nyx still wants Abaddon's power. Because the queen of Nyx really hates Abaddon, Nyx Assassin also hates her.
The sword Abaddon used to fight was made of black mist and had three other swords, the horse of Abaddon was also made of black mist and became the black knight Abaddon who would protect his family and become the leader of the war.
