I was initially not excited to experience Death Stranding. I enjoyed it during my more than 50 hours experience, yes the game is long and offers a lot of different tasks but if you focus on just the main tasks you will be able to finish it shorter.

In the near future, strange explosions rocked the planet and triggered numerous supernatural events known as death stranding. Now there are creatures from the underworld called the isthmus (or BTs as they are described) roaming the earth and killing everyone who comes their way. Sam Porter Bridges must travel through devastated lands and save humanity from the impending annihilation. To save this mankind, the hero of the game must unite America by connecting all its regions to the “Kirillian” network established by Bridges, so during your arduous journey you will go to many different areas and meet many computer characters (NPCs) with whom you can strengthen your relationships to get The special tools of them, the more your relationship with them the more they give you more things.

For example, in the beginning of the game you will be able to deliver a charge to the craftsman, a human expert in weapons compliance. When you do his first missions, he will provide a weapon that will help you against looters who usually steal your shipment and are not interested in killing you. If you strengthen your relationship with the craftsman more by making connections to him or recovering his lost shipments, you will get an upgrade to the current weapon or get a weapon. Totally new. There are a lot of characters, including those who give you cosmetic items or items that will benefit you greatly during the game. Is the game full of excitement? This is what many have asked, especially after the boring performances Kojima reviewed at the beginning of the year. The answer is that there is excitement, but not always. Death Stranding is really a delivery game as many people joked when they said the game is a pizza delivery, but frankly pizza delivery is fun if it's already as the game provided. The delinquency of death are episodes, each of which touches on a specific subject, but all of these topics are presented narratively and related to each other. The only thing that will not change is the subject of delivery of shipments, from the beginning of the game to the end and you will deliver different shipments, some of which may be exposed to breakage or some may be damaged by the time rains that increase the life of everything you touch directly.

In other words, you will spend a lot of time walking around between barren mountains and snow and rivers on foot or using vehicles when you advance a little in the game, but even if you get vehicles, walking will still be something you do a lot. Sometimes you might get bored while doing this thing, and even when my brother saw me playing it, he told me in one letter, “What is this game that all I see you play is walking somewhere?” When the feeling of boredom comes, the game starts one of its great songs that fit well with the world, You end up relaxing as you explore the world with stunning graphics with great music or songs.

Sam will constantly use his inventory while in the game world to equip himself with the necessary equipment and items.He also has equipment to help him advance in rough terrain such as extensible stairs and climbing equipment and the work of various buildings such as bridges or rain shelters. The game hero can also get different devices that can help him carry more charges or a device that accelerates the movement or a device that helps him in snowy areas, so you will often change your equipment based on your destination, and do not forget that you will have to balance your shipment well so as not to disturb your balance, But don't worry because clicking on a triangle will automatically arrange the shipment.

As I mentioned earlier, time rains will affect your shipments and vehicles which may damage them if you are exposed to these rains too and also when you drop or hit your shipment somewhere will damage your shipment resulting in a decrease in the number of likes you will get by the characters, and the more likes will be raised and you will get Get new skills or your skills will be upgraded.

Some of you may be wondering why the game has such a famous team as Norman Reedus, Mads Mixlin, Margaret Qualy and Troy Baker. It is also a cinematic experience because of the cadre and film clips, some of which span more than fifteen minutes. So if you are not a fan of movie clips and if you are not a fan of walking you will not enjoy it, as I said at the beginning of the review, this game is not for everyone but if you do not mind this, we will ensure that you will live a cinema experience in terms of production and quality.

The collective mode is truly distinctive and added great fun to the experience, so players can place buildings or equipment in specific places. For example, there is a mountain that you must climb, you may see some players who put signs pointing you on the best path and there are players may put ladders or climbing ropes to make it easier for you to work and not waste additional resources. Apart from this, players can put many different things like generators (which can save you sometimes when your battery is running out) and sometimes for promotional signs. As mentioned above, when you also contribute to road construction and anything like that, you will also get likes. This was really fun and when you see that you got a lot of likes you will feel happy because you helped other players and relaxed them while they were transporting a difficult shipment. Time rains as we said earlier will affect and destroy what was built by the players so when a player builds something, he will not stay forever.

For the fighting system, there are two types of enemies: the human beings and the isthmus creatures. Humans have camps in different parts of the map, some are interested in looting you and some are interested in killing you too. You can duel them with firearms, bombs or restraint weapons, or simply fight them with your cargo or with your own hands. The isthmus or supernatural beings sent from death have special weapons and you can fight them with bloody weapons that consume your blood. To be honest during my experience of the game on the recommended difficulty, I never felt difficult and it was very easy to fight humans and using a structure you can escape from them quickly.

When Sam encounters the isthmus (BTs), his prosthesis system connected to the young child will alert him of close threats. In many cases, Sam can avoid them by maneuvering slowly around them. The isthmus appears as floating black ghosts looming on the horizon connected by their bonds of the mortal world. Too close will alert them to your presence and when that happens footprints will appear in the ground running behind Sam, if he can't escape, he will be dragged into the world of the dead. Sam can also fight with bloody weapons. Fighting is not difficult either. It takes more time and precision, but frankly fighting the isthmus or avoiding them will make you nervous or frightened.

Fighting bosses compared to the rest of the games is easy, but it takes a lot of time and the mechanism of fighting the bosses is the same no matter how different the leader, you will always hit him using bombs or weapons in general and then you will run from place to place to avoid strikes and repeat the process. If you run out of stocks, you can find items left by some other players to help you fight or from an auxiliary isthmus that gives you what you need.

The game's graphics and animations don't need to talk about them because they are really amazing, in some places in the world I felt like a duplicate until I reached the end of the game and explored the whole world but it is not annoying and after a long period of your work as a cargo carrier will save the roads and this will increase the pleasure in my opinion.

There are several things that have been annoying in Death Stranding's gameplay. For example, driving vehicles and trucks, especially in rough terrain, is overwhelming because the fast truck is unresponsive and sometimes the truck behaves contrary to what you are pushing. In the safe room or the restroom we saw with the gameplay displays, the gameplay is similar to telltale games where you click on what you want to do and then there's a short movie clip. Well, in the early hours it may be interesting to watch them, but then you will end up pressing the settings button and then you will choose the word “skip” repeatedly. I wish there was an option for automatic skipping or more freedom to move.

If you reach the end of the game, there will be a list of credits twice and both will not be able to skip them. For me I saw the first time but the second time all the names were repetitive and lasted for more than six minutes. The game also lacks the image mode that I would have liked to have been available due to the possibility of taking beautiful pictures.

In the end, we can say that Death Stranding will provide a unique experience different from the game industry. The game may not appeal to many, especially those who do not like the long and excessive movie clips or who are constantly looking for excitement, as well as players who are waiting for an experience similar to the Metal Gear series may not get what they wish. But in the middle of the game Metal Gear's breeze will start to appear, I won't burn anything on you
