Top 5 and Game of the Year for Top 20 (Top Games 2019)

Complementing the list of the top 20 games I have from the last five, we will mention in this article the first five places from the list of the best 20 games I have in 2019, so that is the first position of the game of the year.

The year 2019 brought with it great games of all kinds, and was marked by the return of large titles and expected of all players. Choosing the game of the year was not easy, as the creativity of the developers this year made me confused when choosing the game of the year, so every game left me something to remember it and makes it one of the best experiences of this generation.

For games from fifth to first place (Game of the Year) in the list of the best 20 games in 2019 are as follows:

Fifth place: Luigi’s Mansion 3

The first thing that fascinates you is the fun appearance of the game and the cute cinematic scenes, and the magic luster extends to a fun gameplay with a variety of tools and strategies that differ with the enemies. Each enemy is distinct from the other and in every stage and floor brings you a new surprise and a distinct design that motivates you to explore. Its charm also extends to the cooperative phase of the story and the competitive collective phase.

Fourth place: Resident Evil 2

A re-release of one of the oldest strings in gaming history, and a mighty effort that might even be the best Remake of the game ever, it maintains the original game atmosphere with contemporary elements in current gaming concepts. She was able to admire everyone who played it for the first time in 1998 or who played it for the first time, and we all agree that confronting Mr. X and his pursuit of us was one of the most outstanding experiences in our minds this year. There are some adjustments that may not be the best that happened, such as Mr. X is present in both Leon and Claire's track since he was previously in one track, as well as your heavy dependence on the map and its instructions that make the player spend more time checking the map instead of exploring the game world in front of him.

Third place: Control

Control may not have revolutionary things that we have not seen before, but it managed to present a distinctive template in general that makes it one of the most enjoyable experiences in 2019. Unique, the truth is that it made one of the best stages I played this year, even thanks to the intelligent use of music. Control is a smart experience that focused on the essentials that made the experience generally unique without trying to extend the life of the game by stuffing and repeating.

Second place: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Continuing the achievements of FromSoftware, its developer brings us from the publication of Activision, the game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which takes many previous developer game systems and adds and modifies them to stand out among all their games. Sekiro carries stories with each player as he confronts his leaders and how he overcomes them, stories about his practice and his learning to focus and choose the right moment for each hit and pouncing on the opponent at every opportunity. With her fast and sophisticated gameplay style, great appearance and epic bouts, as well as facilitating some systems, she has attracted many new players to this genre. She was about to win my 2019 game of the year, but somebody managed to steal the limelight this year.

First place and Game of the Year: Devil May Cry 5

After waiting for 11 years, we finally got a new part in the series that started 3D action games nearly twenty years ago, which means that the series spent most of their time hidden from view, also means that the hopes for this part were great, and it did not disappoint. The game provided one of the best and deepest fighting systems, with three different characters with its play style and a large number of different movements to get, which gives you great freedom in your own system of fighting. One of the most exciting and motivating games for you to learn, improve and accomplish, accompanied by a distinguished and wonderful cast of characters and cynical cinematic clips as we used to, with weapons, enemies, various leaders and breathtaking moments. Few games are totally successful in delivering on their promise, delivering a technically superior action game in its deep and varied systems with a mixture of comedy and grandfather series theme in dialogues and story.

Great return to the series after 11 years of waiting, one of this generation's masterpieces and my choice of Best Game of the Year.
