Shadows: Awakening is an isometric view RPG based on the Heretic Kingdoms series. In this game of Games Farm and Kalypso Media, players move between two planes of reality while fighting against monsters and dangerous enemies. There are three heroes to choose from, each with its own story and character missions; with them you can consume the souls of 15 playable characters to acquire new skills.

Shadows: Awakening is not perfect. We are badly introduced to history, the weight of our decisions is, except for exceptions, nonexistent, we will have to go through the maps already visited more than we would like and the stoppages, especially, are annoying in great magnitude, so there are several Failures to take into account when acquiring it.

However, its positive aspects are much more imperative than the negative ones. The story is interesting, its combat mechanics are very entertaining, the alternation of protagonists -and what that implies on several levels- is a magnificently executed idea, the rolero aspects give it an addictive character, the ambience and the sound are a double Outstanding -including the voices, since the dubbing is great- ... In short, an excellent work that we recommend to any lover of adventures, of the latest installment of Diablo and of the plural and unbridled action.
