How does it work? Just type your nickname and hit go. You'll be taken to a lobby with up to 75 other Marios waiting for the game to start. Once it does, you're taken along with everyone else to a randomly picked world from a classic NES selection. You can end up in the original 1-1, some of the other worlds or even LOST or PLUS levels.

You only start with one life. If you die, off to a new lobby you go, so do your best. The race is on! Only the first three people who complete the stage is getting a spot on the podium. Fight against everyone else for any power ups, but run away in case one of your clones gets a star, because touching them will kill you.

Playing with buddies is easy. While there is no lag between you and monsters, there is always lag between players. But all you have to do is enter the same code as them when you start. You'll be taken to the same server as them and you'll be able to see each others' names on top of your own Marios.
