New Resident Evil's Jill not so badass, series going back into action genre
Resident Evil 3 Remake
It's only natural RE3 takes a stroll back into action-packed gameplay. The whole game is based on the main character, Jill, trying to escape everything: an isolated Raccoon City, lots of zombies and of course, Nemesis.
The plot has to make the game a thriller instead of a survival horror. Just like it played out on the original Playstation. But hopefully, Capcom won't take any new entries into arcade territory. They can't make the same mistake twice, right?...
Despite being a little hesitant about it, cinematics make us feel right at home in the world of Umbrella. So at least for RE3, it should be more fun than ever!

But the most astonishing change in RE3 is how Jill looks and acts differently. The trailer hints at her as a scaredy cat, a "bleeding heart".
To anyone who played the original, this feels ridiculous. We've met her as a total badass. An experienced S.T.A.R.S. member who can pull her act together no matter what.
This isn't the Jill we once knew. We're presented a gullible damzel in distress in her place. We will have to see her evolve into someone capable. How did she become S.T.A.R.S. anyway!
Maybe it's not Resident Evil
In fact, everything is so different, maybe we should go as far as considering RE2:Remake the actual first entry in this reboot. RE1 wasn't a remake, but a remaster. But you know what... This is fine. It's a new, exciting AAA experience.

Well, I won't mind if RE3 was more action packed than the original, but I a sure hope it doesn't go full action like RE6. (RE6 is good but didn't feel like an RE game.)

Thank you for taking time to reply. I sort of understand your anger. I am not in the habit of downvoting people. Things I don't like, I would just skip. I am also not going to get back at you as it becomes a neverending cycle if I also do the same. I have about 40k gg staked tokens and downvoting can remove gg earning for game related content but I would rather spend time upvoting and supporting content than downvoting others. I am just going to leave this alone as I would still want to stick to my principle of not downvoting even if there is a choice or right to do so. It is just me. I must say that there are still many nice people around and what you face could be that small percentage of them. Since I do not know the whole story, I cannot comment much about what exactly happen. Thanks! I just hope you would know that there are still people like me who are focusing on producing content and curating content as main focus. Downvoting may not be a focus for many of us even if there is this downvoting extra power now. I generally leave it and I do have couple of alt accounts to curate and support the platform. I used to be like that. The negativity and abuse eventually got to me. Now I just post something once in a while and downvote those of ill intent.
