I've been quite inactive posting here as I have been busy the past few days and I haven't played much at all due to that. The days before that I didn't really encounter many exciting things to write about. Well other than that I beat Cliff again to progress through the quest, but I felt that would be too soon to post after the post about Giovanni. I also beat Arlo today, so once I have a new Rocket Radar I can look for Sierra and then for Giovanni again to try and get this month's Shadow Moltres.

A few days ago they added some new generation 5 Pokémon into the game. Some of these new ones require trading to evolve them. With that they have now added a sort of new way for evolving certain Pokémon. These Pokémon don't require a held item while trading to evolve. Niantic has made it now that these Pokémon can either be evolved with 0 Candy cost after they've been traded, or they can be evolved with 200 Candy if they haven't been traded.

Amongst these newly added Pokémon are some regional Pokémon again. Such as Basculin with red stripes and the one with blue stripes, being divided across the worlds. Throh and Sawk are also divided over the world like Volbeat & Illumise, etc.

When I played a little bit a few days ago I encountered a Basculin and a bit later a Tympole. I pressed the wrong buttons during both of their Pokédex registries causing me to fail taking a proper screenshot. So I could unfortunately not include that in here.

I also saw a few of the new ones like Throh and Venipede on my nearby radar already but either couldn't go get them due to waiting for the train or just tired and not wanting to make a detour when on the way home.

Today when I was back home I knew from someone that Arlo was in the city center at some Pokéstops not too far from where I live. So after dropping my stuff off I decided I'd go out to beat him. Which went really smooth from the first try. After defeating him I saw an empty spot on my nearby radar, not even a silhouette. I guess it didn't want to load, but it showed up on a Pokéstop on my way back home. A little bit later the silhouette did show up revealing a Joltik silhouette. I encountered it and managed to catch it. This time I was able to properly take a screenshot!
