Rayquaza returning to Raids with its Shiny form

The Legendary Rayquaza is descending back into Raids to make sure that the clash between Groudon and Kyogre can be put to a rest again. Even though Groudon and Kyogre have made place in Raids for Armoured Mewtwo, they might still have been clashing against one another. So Rayquaza is returning to put them back to rest. This time is brings a surprise with it though, as its Shiny form will now finally be available!

Today, Wednesday July 31, it will return to Raids at 1 pm PDT in place of Armoured Mewtwo. For me that will be at 10 pm, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get some Rayquaza Raids showing up in my area. It will remain in Raids until September 2 at 1 pm PDT.

I will definitely attempt to get this one Shiny, although I hope the lack of a Shiny Groudon will not hinder my chances to encounter this Shiny Rayquaza. My current best Rayquaza is a 98% IV, so improving on that will be a super slim chance. The possibility for it does exist though and if I do succeed on that with the RNG of the CP when catching the Rayquaza it would mean I'd get my 2nd 100% Legendary from a Raid.

I've taken this picture of a Rayquaza descending down while I was on a short vacation in Ljubljana, Slovenia last week. When I heard the helicopter and I still had my Pokémon GO open I decided to immediately look for my Rayquaza and take an AR picture of it with the helicopter included!

Are you looking forward to a chance for a Shiny Rayquaza?
