ONECENT Daily Report - Random Upvote & Tokenomics - Day 30
Firstly, the numbers: our total value is currently about 1475 STEEM, including 299 STEEM within Steem Engine and a total of 15203 tokens in play. This gives ONECENT an ABV of about 9.70 STEEM cents, flat on yesterday.
Notice a slight decrease in the value of token holdings within Steem Engine. Honestly, the best investments have been in our own MAP FinTech family of programs.
If "price discovery" is the only mechanism used by Tribes then it's a slow decline down to zero. Really, they need to build up real value from STEEM holdings. Maybe some already do and I am not privy to their overall finances, including the role of miners, but I am skeptical about what will secure the bottom.
I don't, for example, see any increase in the reward pool; just the opposite. Large amounts of STEEM generating rewards used to fund a Tribe would manifest in the reward pool slowly coming down. That's a clue.
Let us also not forget that any slide in token prices is on top of the current slide in STEEM itself.
Perhaps the current environment was not propitious for launching another game, however, the numbers for TULIP are not so bad and we should see some nice price growth in the coming days from posts made a week ago.
