I let my stop-loss activate at $9777 and I haven't even thought about buying back in. It's nice to have my USD hedge back in the event of the crash to $7500 I've been predicting for a month now.
Things have been moving a bit more quickly than I originally expected. Therefore, I'm altering my plan and moving up the timetable by a month. I'll no longer save the hedge to buy back in during the month of October. Instead, I'll dip by toes back in at the end of August and most of September.
If the market happens to flash crash another $1000 I'll definitely think about day trading again. Although at that point I'll probably just get greedy and set the limit order to to buy at $7777. In fact, I'm going to put this order in right now... done.

it will go to 15k before it goes to 7500

I recognize that I do not have the discipline nor knowledge to do this but wish everyone who does luck (except the shorts)!
Honestly I'm just trying to lower the volatility by not constantly having 100% of my assets invested.

Why precisely 7777?
Any special reason to select that number?
Bitcoin technicals are always tricky. From my own experience, I feel that Bitcoin movements don't follow the traditional analysis. When we generally feel that Bitcoin will not break 6000, it breaks and prints 3000. When we feel that it will correct at 7200, it goes up and prints 13000. Interestingly, it has not happened just once, on many occasion in the past it has happened like that. Personally, I will be happy to see it again at 4000 in 2019, but I feel like it is never going to happen, those who grabbed it at 3500 are all set to see 30000 in next two years.
7777 is a magic number and very probable target, but those who are having long tem perspective may be more comfortable to enter at 6100. But Bitcoin is looking pretty firm and not showing any signs to move lower. Sideways trading are expected for next couple of sessions.
